The corporate identity I created for Interruhr in 2021. Based in Gelsenkirchen, InterRuhr is an internationally oriented trading company working across medical products, technical products, raw materials, building products and foodstuffs, among others; it takes its name from the Ruhr River. Early on I tried river-shaped concepts, but we settled on a typographic logo. As a globally minded company, I built the letter R from quarter circles of the globe, then used a red circle to complete the contrast — landing on a confident, determined, dependable image.
